A tragic parasailing accident in Budva, Montenegro, claimed the life of 19-year-old Serbian social media influencer Tijana Radonjic last Wednesday. She plunged more than 160 feet into the Adriatic Sea after reportedly unbuckling her harness mid-air—an action some believe may have been triggered by a sudden panic attack.

A distressing video of the incident has been widely shared online. It shows Tijana suspended high in the air, screaming and struggling with her harness. Moments later, she appears to flip upside down before falling from a terrifying height. While the exact reason she unfastened her harness remains unclear, several reports suggest she may have experienced an intense panic episode.
Mirko Krdzic, the owner of the parasailing company involved, said Tijana showed no signs of distress before takeoff. “She waved to her friends on the beach, and they waved back. Everything seemed normal,” he told local media. “We still don’t understand why she unbuckled her seatbelt and harness mid-air.”
Eyewitnesses recalled hearing the teenager scream and plead to be brought down just moments before the fall. The incident has left many shocked and mourning the loss of the young influencer.
