It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Elijah Greene, of Lincoln, Nebraska, who tragically lost his life in a deadly accident on June 18, 2025. He was 31 years old. Elijah was the devoted husband of Morgan Greene, and his sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the entire community.
Born and raised in Elmwood, Nebraska, Elijah was a proud graduate of Centennial Public School. From a young age, he was known for his strong work ethic, hands-on skill, and unwavering loyalty to those around him. He was a man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, and his calm presence brought comfort and dependability to every situation.
Elijah built a career doing what he loved—working with engines and heavy machinery. He was a partner at DT Diesel, where he applied his mechanical talents and deep knowledge as a diesel technician.
He was also self-employed at T & D Construction, showing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to building a life from the ground up. In the past, he served as a diesel mechanic apprentice at D T Diesel and worked as a technician at Schlegel Automotive Repair, earning the respect of coworkers and customers alike for his attention to detail, honesty, and dedication.
More than his career accomplishments, Elijah will be remembered most for the relationships he nurtured. He was a loving husband to Morgan, whom he adored with all his heart. Their bond was built on trust, laughter, and shared dreams. To those who knew them, they were not only partners in life but best friends and soulmates.
Elijah was also a proud father, a loyal son, a trusted friend, and a beloved family member. His smile could light up a room, and his quiet strength offered reassurance to everyone lucky enough to know him. He had the unique ability to make people feel seen, valued, and supported.
